Emergency Food Relief for Vulnerable Households

Feed Auchi was a food relief project aimed at combating hunger and food insecurity among vulnerable families in Auchi, Edo State. The project provided essential food items such as rice, beans, garri, vegetable oil, and seasoning to 200 low-income households, including widows, the elderly, and families with children. In response to rising food prices and the economic impact of recent inflation, the project was designed to reduce short-term hunger and support nutrition in households that were facing food shortages. Community volunteers helped with food packaging and door-to-door distribution, ensuring dignity and equitable access. The project not only provided physical nourishment but also renewed hope and strengthened community solidarity during a time of need.
